Third transnational meeting for coordinators in Italy

The third and final transnational meeting between the coordinators of each school was held by the Istituto Istruzione Secondaria Superiore Bazoli-Polo in Desenzano del Garda, Italy. The Austrian school was represented by Giovanni Santoro (EU general coordinator of the project), Angelika Kappler and Rosemarie Pollanz, the French school by Stephanie Batisse and Carine Penaud, the Italian school by Mara Belluzzi, Monica Vielmi, Enzo Cantarelli and Paolo Milli, the Polish school by Anna Bijak and Karina Banasik, the Spanish school by Simon Pérez Gonzalez and Fernando Hidalgo Fernández and the English school, was represented by Eulalee Connor and Stephen Sadler.
The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the outcome of the international KA219 Erasmus+ Project "Mens sana in corpore sano. Food, nutrition, eating habits, health and disease at European schools as an (inter)cultural mirror, in every detail. The meeting focused on the following issues:
- Presentation of the results of the past two years of all the partner schools involved in the project.
- Evaluation of the achieved results.
- Lively exchange of ideas and experiences on the project.
- Organisation of all the administrative details concerned with the final report.
- Editing of the final report.
Apart from the intensive work on the final report for the National Agencies there was a very dense and well-organized cultural program which included afternoon trips to Sirmione and Mantova, as well as an excursion to Venice.
It was a special pleasure for all the participants of the meeting to enjoy the unrivalled hospitality of our Italian partners in Desenzano. At the end of our first working session we were invited by the headmistress Francesca Subrizi of I.I.S.S. Bazoli-Polo to a reception at a local bar where we could enjoy typical local products.
At the end of the week there was a press-conference and a well-attended dissemination event at Bazoli-Polo.
The final farewell dinner at the agriturismo “Il Pratello” gave everybody the opportunity to make sure that the relations between the participating schools will continue.
